Indonesian Fried Chicken
8 Peels of Garlic
1 Thumb of Ginger Minced
4 Shallots Minced
1 Tsp Curry Powder
1 Tsp Coriander Powder
1 Tsp Ground Cumin
1 Tsp Tumeric Powder
2 Tsp Chicken Powder
Pinch of Salt & Pepper
100 ml Water
Put all spices into a blender and blitz into a paste
Rub spice paste onto the chicken pieces ( Add bay leaves on chicken )
Marinate overnight
Steam until semi-cooked
On high heat, deep fry until golden brown
Serve with sambal, Kecap Manis and Cucumber
